Not buying it.....wouldn't be surprised to see the spin put on this one that the almighty, resurging Maryland Terrapin program beats out OSU for a recruit that everyone has seen going to Maryland for quite some time. Not fooling anyone. Rocky Top or the Turtles would be my guess.

It’s not necessarily HIS issue, but MD defensive tackle commit Taisze Johnson said something along the lines of “If a top tier coach only gets the best players in recruiting every year, are they really a top tier coach?” And other stuff about how high the Bosa’s, Dre’Mont Jones, and Chase were ranked as recruits, so it shouldn’t be a shock they were drafted so high. Marcus simply agreed.

Most just assume they’re parroting what the MD staff is saying about LJ.

Gotcha, thanks. Maybe LJ should start recruiting 3 star players from Massachusetts

That's like saying the only reason Warren Buffet's compound interest investment strategy works is because he's a billionaire.

Well, like Warren Buffet, LJ started from the beginning and built his brand. LJ has a reputation of developing players and as a result everyone wants to play for him. Including the elite.

Also just like those who typically invest in Buffet (Johnson) it pays dividends down the road.

LJ didn't always have the best and it's his track record that earned him the ability to recruit the best.

But yeah take your chances with Maryland or wherever else.

I once couldn't stand LJ and the reason why? I was jealous. Jealous he was so good at his job and did not work for tOSU. Anyone who's looking to invest in their future as a DL recruit should seek out the best and the best is LJ.
