Ohio State is just the latest program to offer Dennis-Sutton, who has accumulated an impressive list including more than two dozen of the nation’s top schools. The Buckeyes have some serious competition for his commitment as he holds offers from the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, Maryland, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, USC and others.
Penn State has jumped into the driver’s seat in his recruitment, with all five of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions being for the Nittany Lions with an impressive confidence score of seven.
It may seem like Ohio State is entering the race a little too late to find success, but with the over a year long recruiting dead period due to Covid-19, the entire recruiting class is behind schedule. The Buckeyes are adding to their June visitor list daily, and will look to get the four-star DE on campus sooner than later — especially as the team has yet to earn a commitment at his position in this cycle. If they are able to do so, the Buckeyes could quickly become legitimate contenders for his commitment.
