McNabb chokes away the MNF game...

personally i know he is probably actually hurt but you can tell he is EXAGGERATING the injury. he knows the cameras are on him so he lays there and then winces and limps in pain every step.

I couldn't blame him for not wanting to play, to tell you the truth. The Eagles seem to retrogress every year (or not get any better) and their front office isn't doing, anything (in my opinion). I can't stand TO, but now that he's gone, I can't see a glimmer of hope foe the Eagles' organization.

Nice to see. His pass with 3 minutes to go was Harrington-esque. Stick a fork in the Eagles - they are done.

Boy, what a suprise. When I saw the title of the thread, I knew it was
a Tibor thread.

Get some more material , you're too predictable.

Maybe you can get yourself run over by a bus on your honeymoon. Then we can start a thread:

"Tibor hit by bus on his honeymoon. Lucky widow."

as an eagles fan, that was a painful loss on monday. the cowboys are a good team but we screwed up bad and didnt deserve to win if we couldnt maintain a 13 point lead that late in the game. i think that they are struggling right now and even with mcnabb as my favorite player, that hernia had nothing to do with him deciding to throw the ball right into Roy Williams' gut. I guess he must have not seen him or something, but thats the second week in a row in which he ended a game like that.

i dont know if i would say that there is "no hope" for the eagles or that they are finished without TO, because I still think they have the talent, leadership, and coaching to rebound, whether it be this season or the next. in my opinion, they have one of the best front office's in football, and develop average players into pro-bowlers just as good as anyone else in the league. i was also impressed on how they did not give in to TO like some teams would have, because all it would have done is get every single player on the team to start asking for new contracts and more money. while things are rough right now (and being in a division with 3 other good teams doesnt help), things will get better and people can say all they want about them needing TO, but you gotta believe that having a guy cause problems and having to be with him every day, for months after months, that it can only be a distraction. i think that as their young players develop, and the WR's get more experiance with more of a load on their shoulders, things will be better and i think that by next season Philadelphia will be in good shape.

oh yeah, and for all of you who say you "cant stand" mcnabb, im having a hard time finding out how you can come to that. i mean i can understand how you can not like a team or alot of players for being whiny, mouthy, cocky, or whatever, but i dont see Donovan McNabb as one of those guys. Even if i wasnt an eagles fan i would think that i could respect him enough for being a class act and a good guy. its kind of like saying that you "cant stand" peyton manning, or hines ward. im not a colts or steelers fan, but i like both of those guys and give them respect for showing leadership and maturity both on and off the field.

As I said earlier, I can't stand the Eagles, but I like McNabb. He is the true example of professional class acts.

Off Topic a bit but... The Madden cover curse continues. I wonder how much money they have to pay the athlete next year to put them on the cover, it's been too many years in a row for people to not take notice.
Ray Lewis was on the cover last year and was fine, but yes, Madden is four for five on players' careers since the Eddie George cover.
