What the Hell.... How easily could that have been a kid she hit and killed. She needs at least 3 months, not 3 days...

I would vote for jerry springer over that family in the next election....

I think all the Republican party has to do for the gubernatorial election is to play audio clips of his interview with Glenn Beck in regards to the Mifflin HS rape incident and that should suffice.

Actually I think he will lose in the primary to Ted Strickland. Yes, amazing as it may seem, the democrats have a serious candidate for governor this time around.

Who's call was it to have police in full military gear dispense tear gas last night? Seriously? Drunken orgies, man.

I mean, I wasn't down there but all the 'RAW' video that came out, I don't see anyone being that crazy where the police needs to go all Fergeson on the students.

EDIT: well, I just read we had 90 fires set on campus last night.. so maybe my knee-jerk above is a little much.

Or the PD is just making stuff up to justify their actions.

I was in Big Bar when they started tear gassing the crowd. It seeped through the windows which was fun. We couldn't leave for awhile because they gassed the front and back entrances.

As far as I could tell no one was doing anything but being jubilant. There certainly weren't any fires in the area or property damage of any kind for that matter that I noticed.

I think it was a clear over reaction/unnecessary escalation where I was at. I can't speak to other parts of campus.

Maybe they were preemptively tear gassing the crowd? I don't know.

Word is, fire trucks could not get through to put out some of the 90 or so fires. I remember a few years ago when a student was killed as one of these fires got out of control. Tear gas seems pretty excessive to me, but if this is true, I understand the need to disperse crowds at certain places.
