We are having a little contest within the family. You get to pick 3 players. Any player finishing top 5 is worth 10 pts. Any player in the 6-10 spot is worth 5 points. You get a 15 point bonus if one player you pick wins, 10 for second and 5 for 3rd. Low score is the tie breaker.

I have Jordan, Jason, and Phil....

Looking good as of Day 1....long way to go...

We talked about picking 5. So, is it low total score of your best 4 wins?
Didn't even really read through the rules, but I know my team is in trouble haha...

    6) Lowest cumulative score relative to par for your 4 best scoring players at the end of the tournament
wins. 5th player does not count toward your score even tie breaker.
    7) If a member of your team misses the cut on Friday, that member is assigned the highest
finishing score on Sunday plus three strokes. For example, if Rory McIlroy finishes last
among all players who make the cut and finishes at 12 over par, your member who
missed the cut will receive a score of 15 over par.

The salary cap/point system made it pretty hard to put together a stacked team. Played around with it for about 30 minutes before finally setting on this bunch:

    Rory McIlroy 15
    Rickie Fowler 14.6
    Louis Oosthuizen 13.9
    Charley Hoffman 9.5
Mike Weir 7 (lowest 'throw away' for me as really only 4 matter)
    ---------

Kicking myself for not sticking with the returning Champ. What a round for Spieth.
