Yep, seems to be the situation. It's smart since it appears he's pretty torn. At the very least it appears this isn't going to be a Tajh Boyd situation.Merih;2106358; said:I don't think he's playing games... I think he just went quiet and the reporters/insiders need to feed their hungry masses something. It's not like he's naming a new leader daily, he just stopped talking.

She's about as close as anyone to the situation...which is to say not very close.

Of course he's playing the game... when you have person A saying he's going to Florida on Twitter and person B saying he's going to Sacramento Community College on Facebook, you know he's playing everyone.wadc45;2106397; said:How is he "playing the game"? I haven't heard one word out of the kid in the media.
Ohio State football: Receiver to make choice Friday
By Tim May
The Columbus Dispatch
Thursday February 9, 2012
Stefon Diggs is scheduled to announce his college choice on a Washington cable channel at 10 p.m. on Friday, and it?s good that the deadline is almost two days away.
As of last night, the blue-chip receiver from Olney, Md., apparently hadn?t made up his mind.
Ohio State? Florida? Auburn? Maryland?
?Won?t know anything until? today, and maybe not even then, Good Counsel High School assistant coach and recruiting liaison Kevin McFadden said last night.
First-year Ohio State coach Urban Meyer targeted Diggs to fill a need for playmaking speed, as he put it, to be the cherry on top of his highly ranked recruiting class. But Florida, Auburn and Maryland have kept a spot open for Diggs for the same reason.
?As of (last night), I believe Maryland is the team to beat,? Mike Farrell of Rivals.com said. ?They?ve got that home-field advantage. To choose another school at this point is going to be difficult for him.?

Brandy L. Simms of Sentinel Newspapers which cover suburban D.C. said reliable source tells him Stefon Diggs to sign with OSU. Stay tuned.
Good Counsel star WR-DB Stefon Diggs expected to commit to Maryland
By Josh Barr
All-Met Defensive Player of the Year Stefon Diggs of Good Counsel is poised to announce that he will accept a scholarship offer to play for Maryland, according to a source with knowledge of Diggs?s plans.
Diggs had planned to announce his college choice Friday on Comcast SportsNet, but a station spokesman said Thursday that Diggs had backed out of the arrangement. While Diggs still might make his choice known Friday, it was not immediately clear when or where that will take place
Diggs, a star receiver and cornerback, is believed to also be strongly considering Florida and Ohio State. Auburn is also among his final choices. At this point, nothing would surprise those who have closely followed Diggs?s recruitment.
Diggs, a two-time All-Met, has declined recent interview requests but Thursday he appeared to think through his decision on his Twitter page.
?Never been this nervous my whole life. Football games I?ve never once got nervous,? Diggs posted Thursday (@Marseanbaybee ). ?Footballs easy just about the work you put in. But making a decision that?ll impact your life for the next 40 to 50 years.?
Diggs posted that he liked the warmer weather in Florida, that Maryland was the hometown school, that Ohio State was a great place and Auburn seemed like a family.
?Everybody going love you up until your no longer producing for them,? Diggs posted. ?This is a business. Gotta remember its people jobs on the line.?

Talking to a few more people this morning I am more convinced than ever Stefon Diggs is #Maryland bound barring a surprise.
Diggs, a teammate of Terps signees Wes Brown and Mike Madaras, will announce his decision at 6 p.m. tonight at Looney's in College Park. Check back with Recruiting Report tonight to find out where Diggs will play in college.

If Diggs has an announcement in College Park, MD and picks #Florida, #OhioState or #Auburn, things will get interesting.
