We shall see what adjustments Knowles makes. Everyone just looks flat footed and slow today on D. The Dline is getting pushed around, the DBs are getting beat and the LBs, I mean we have some out there right?

D is playing vanilla and rotating a ton of guys. Overall, not too worried abut them as I think Knowles is using this game to gain information more than anything else. The lack of mental focus needs to be an aberration and not a trend. Officials are God awful. The targeting rule just needs to go as it apparently cannot be called with any consistency. For example, this was not targeting, or even a PF:

It’s really odd but this does happen a lot and I don’t know why? Same thing with kickers always hitting their field goals vs us even if they’re terrible.

Boy, only in buckeye land can we be up 2 TDs and we’re likely mainly disappointed. The defensive line is really not doing much and the middle of the defense is having a game to forget so far. I think the corners are playing well but I think the LB/S are really struggling today. I don’t think the play calling is doing them any favors but that doesn’t mean we can execute.

To me Knowles seems to be depending on the front 4 to get pressure straight up but sometimes you have to get in someone’s face then bring the heat.
