His next one would be his first.

Former Marshall head coach Mark Snyder, once Ohio State's defensive coordinator, will be the defensive coordinator at South Florida under new Bulls coach Skip Holtz, a source tells ESPN.
Mark Snyder, South Florida: Snyder wasn't given much of a chance to build his program at Marshall, so he's back to being a defensive coordinator. That's great news for the Bulls, because he was one of the best in the business at Ohio State. South Florida's defense became a little predictable last year; matching up Snyder's smarts with the speed and talent in Florida could be a potent combination. On the offensive side, Todd Fitch will attempt to manufacture a more well-rounded approach than in recent years.
A couple of former Ohio State assistants are on the move. Mark Snyder was lured from South Florida by new Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin to become defensive coordinator. A member of Tressel?s original Ohio State staff in 2001 and the defensive coordinator in 2004, Snyder was coach at his alma mater Marshall from 2005 to 2009 before joining South Florida as an assistant.
