Seeding is looking more and more jacked up after each game.

Pairing Witchita State-Dayton- and Rhode Island-Creighton together was dumb. All four deserved to go up against different teams in this field.

Heard a talking head saying seeding doesn't matter because "you eventually have to go through everyone, anyway." Setting aside the flaws of that reasoning, I think it would be fun - since it apparently doesn't matter - to have the committee pick 64 teams (fuck the first four) then set the match ups FA Cup style.

Live TV, 64 balls in a drum, give it a spin, the first two teams out play each other, the first 16 are one region, and so on. No one complains about seeding, it's just the luck of the draw. It might not make for the best tournament but the reactions would be awesome.
