Reply Nick Mangold Northwestern Ticket Reminder To My Bucknut Friends:

Several weeks ago, I sent out a request to purchase Northwestern tickets. The Northwestern game will be the last time that Nick plays in the 'Shoe. My wife Therese and I have a lot of relatives from around the country that have never had the opportunity to see Nick play at any level. I am trying to acquire as many tickets as I can so that these folks can see Nick play in the majesty of the 'Shoe in front of 105,000 screaming fans.

For those who are not aware, there is a pre-game ceremony to honor the seniors with a special mention for the Captains. It will be a day for the extended Mnagold/Hamlin family to remember!

I have mailed out three checks this morning to the Bucknut faithful who have responded to the call. So far, I have accumulated 16 tickets, but I can use more.

If anyone is interested in selling their tickets, please drop me a note in the EZ Box and we can start the process.

Thank you in advance for your help, and, as always.......

GO BUCKS!

I know tickets "in hand" are a lot more assuring than taking a chance on tickets being available on the morning of the game (see my post responding to the other request for NW tickets just below), but I've done it every game this year (including Texas) and there have been plenty of tickets each time.

Unfortunately, I will be at a wedding for that game, or I'd stand in line myself for the Mangold family and let them have as many as I could get at face value (usually a limit of 4 tix per person in line).

But to reitterate:

Outside window at the Schott, right next to the Will Call ticket entrance, opens around 8 or 8:30. You'll see people lined up against the wall along the Lane Ave. side of the building. "Extra" tickets are almost always released morning of the game and sold for face value (plus some crazy 3 dollar handling charge) at this window. If you can't find enough before, then give it a shot...get there early (we do about 7:30 or so), I think you should be able to get as many as you need.

I Hope all Nick's family, friends, neighbors, & everyone for every senior has the chance to see their favorite Buckeye play their final home game.

Good Luck & GO BUCKS! :osu:
