The first Xbox had the capability to display some games at 480p, which is the same as DVD’s, but is technically not HD. The Xbox 360 displays all games at 720p, which is true HD.

And I've had absolutely no problems with my 360, no freeze-ups, crashes or glitches. It does run a bit loud though.

I store mine horizontally. It has all the bells and whistles. Pumping out 720p. Forgot about it the other day, and left it on for about 18 hours straight. I've never had any sort of problem. It's on a glass shelf next to the furnace that is my receiver.

I suspect the people having overheating problems, are sticking them inside cabinets, or on top of other components, or otherwise doing some really ridiculous things. There may well be some faulty units, but it's clearly not a design flaw.

says someone who is allergic to an xbox controller and therefore probably has no idea what kinds of games came out the last few years for xbox. It isn't 2002 anymore.

p.s. I'm allergic to any system that takes about five years to save anything... let alone try and sim thru a week in an EA Sports dynasty.
