After I first posted it I felt guilty so I deleted it. After a bunch of people went on to call him a pussy I thought it was okay to put it back up. :wink2:

To be fair, he probably had poor health before starting this whole gaming exodus. I mean plenty of people have been awake 50 hours under strenuous conditions. College, anyone?

I doubt videogames had anything to do with his death (other than keeping him awake).

What a freakin' wuss!?! It's not a 'marathon' gaming session when you stop to take a fucking nap. You sit your ass down and play the game until you beat it. You hit pause to take a leak, period. You sit the pizza box near you and eat dinner, then tomorrows breakfast and lunch without stopping. And only 50 hours ...?!

Apparently nobody in Korea has ever heard of Legend of Zelda, Metroid, or Final Fantasy. I've done the 50 hour marathon a hundred times over the last 20 years and my ticker is just fine.

I saw this story on Jimmy Kimmel's show. It showed the guy playing against a guy with a huge axe for a weapon.... suddenly the axe comes out of the tv and hits the guy in the head. So I guess exhaustion had nothing to do with it. :)
It also said the guy died with no wife or kids.

I beat LOZ in an hour and 45 mins the other day and I hadn't played it in a good 5 years...what a game :biggrin:
