I know most states have a law stating that you have to be 20 yds. from your vehicle before you shoot. I am not really up to date on the N.S. laws though.

That's true. And, if you were wondering, it covers boats as well as cars, and the law considers pellet guns to be the same as all other firearms. (Not that I would know from experience or anything...... )
