Saw a blurb about Steven Avery's new lawyer tweeting something about new evidence/testing, so I headed to Reddit to see what else is new.

Came across this post: Anyone know why Teresa is listed as a party on this 2015 property tax record with her biological brother (Timothy halbach)??

So, I figured I would verify and lo and behold: Here is the County record.

Why would Teresa's name still be on a property title as a second owner if she was deceased?

This is just weird.

That's probably a different Tim Halbach that happened to coincidentally marry a Teresa M. The victim's brother is Timothy H, not Timothy G. It also is unlikely she'd have been able to afford a $200,000 home as a single 25 year old woman on a photog's income.

Besides, it's on record she was living with a dude named Scott Bloedorn, a lifelong friend of her ex-boyfriend Ryan Hillegas.

As an aside, why the fuck are Redditors looking up property tax records of the victim? It's cool everyone likes the show, but for fucks sake leave her family alone, people!

Good catch on the brothers name vs. owners name. Didn't realize the difference in the middle initial.

To your rant about the Redditors, someone probably just googled Teresa M. Halbach while "researching" the case on their own and that popped up as it is a matter of public record.

Some redditor is convinced they're going to become famous due to their "investigation". Problem is I've seen (heavy emphasis on the quotations here) "reputable" online news sources actually credit Reddit users by their Reddit handle via the forum.

I just finished episode 9. Unreal. At the very minimum, the Manitowoc Co Sheriff Dept was one of or most likely both of 2 things, 1) Completely fucking incompetent 2) Completely fucking crooked.

It is unbelievable to me that Lenk or Colbert were allowed anywhere within 15 miles of the case, period end of story. They should have never been allowed to participate in any shape or form. And everyone knew that, including the DA.

The fact that there is no murder site bothers me quite a bit. There is no way in hell they can clean up that murder scene in any amount of time, let alone 5 days.
The two detectives that coerced Brenden need strung up by the fucking balls. How can they go to sleep at night? That was pathetic.

I am left wondering who killed her? My gut tells me Avery didn't do it. Mostly by his reaction to the verdict, when he tried looking the jury in the eyes and you could tell his expression was "are you serious"? Maybe I am off, just my gut. At the same time, then who the hell did kill her? The bones being spread around to different locations is also bothersome. Why would her blood be in the car? Makes very little sense.

I wonder if Scott had more to do with it myself. Obviously someone killed her and I sure as shit do not think it was the Sheriff Dept, but I am not convinced it was Avery either. And for damn sure I am 100% convinced that the "investigation" was a travesty and the most pathetic police work in the history of Wisconsin.

EDIT - I have been reading a lot of other websites with more details that were left out of the documentary. I have changed my mind some, I think Avery is guilty but the trial was still a joke.
