Mail without ZIP Code

I am expecting a mail by USPS in which my friend forgot to write my ZIP Code. Will there be any problem with this mail delivery? Thanks.

With luck no.
With normal run-of-the-mill service expect a delay of a day or so - it will not be amenable to the zip system and a zip code may have to be "Imprinted" during sorting to send it through the system - in other words human intervention is required.

Tell your friend that he helping to keep USPS sorting employees in their jobs.

Of course, with bad luck it'll get lost - but then again, with bad luck anything can get lost in the USPS.
