actually, it prevents you from doing unrealistic things. I like it. It also makes the game more realistic, so that guys like Testaverde aren't the greatest, but are steady. In head to head play you can also look off the defense.
Play longer, and you'll appreciate the realism it brings (vs the arcade game that is NCAA 2006, which I love, but pales in comparison with this game)
My only gripe: they need to adopt the deep pass defense system from ncaa 06... which is: "If the WR beats the DB, the DB can't jump 10 miles into the air to deflect the pass". You have to use a 95+ speedster vs. a LBer to throw the ball deep. Otherwise, you have a 99% guarantee that the DB will knock it away.
