My guess is that "MACtion" is a word invented to try to sell tickets to MAC games. And a way to sell the viewership on TV. Ohio State doesn't play games where tickets need to be sold - they get sold. People turn on the TV for Ohio State games, regardless of the opponent. So I don't consider those "MACtion".

I've been to countless Ohio State vs. MAC games. I even went to Cleveland for the game against Toledo, which was officially an away game for Ohio State. (I think Ohio State should do that more often, by the way.)

I've never been to a MAC vs. MAC game. Although, when Roethlesberger was in Miami and Bowling Green had a good team, I turned on the TV specifically to watch them play each other. I would have been willing to go to that game, had I been closer to wherever it was played.

Being in NW Ohio and kind of a closet Toledo fan, I used to go to quite a few games. The Rockets usually offer really good season ticket packages at surprisingly cheap prices that include parking passes, food vouchers and discounts on swag. Saw some pretty entertaining games, especially back when Marshall was in the MAC and had Bryon Leftwich at QB. The two teams played for the conference title several times when the Championship Game was still a home game for one of the teams. Saw a couple of barn burners between the Rockets and the Herd. Had a lot of fun at games in the Glass Bowl.

Go on homecoming. That way there might be some kind of crowd drunk/give a shit

I went to a few games in Athens and the homecoming and Miami games were fine for the price (free)

Let me be clear that I only went to like 3 games because my neighbor in the dorm was the starting quarterback. (And we smoked a lot of weed.)
