Smells fishy. Greg Davis is taking a pretty hard fall - this is the guy who coached Cedric Benson, Vince Young, Colt McCoy, and the prolific Texas offenses of the last 10 years.

All the sudden, the guy can't coach? And he's been with Mack for ~20 years? I can guarantee you Mack is not happy with this decision, and I don't blame him. I guess some heads had to roll, but I think Muschamp is lobbying to clean house for his era - and I don't like that.

I think this was Mack saving his own bacon....he sold out his friend to save his own ass... I do believe this is Muschamp saying things have got to change and the AD agreeing... Mack has MAYBE 2 more years... if he's at UT after 2012.... Mischamp is gone

God help me, I've been spending more time on Shaggy than Gatorcountry. I'm three bowls of popcorn into it and I'm still laughing at the way they are handling it. Far more entertaining than any of our sky-is-falling moments so I have to hand it to them. :lol: Some funny dudes over there.

these guys are fucking great.... Hire a DC w/ Head coaching experience and a great recruiter (Shannon) and turn the keys over to him when mack leaves.... priceless.... Shannon has already failed at the U with great recruiting classes.... guess those orange tinted glasses make yea see things....of course there is the "we're gonna hire Jim Harbaugh in a couple years" too... priceless... what an epic clusterfuck... thank god Tressel will never name a HCIW

Mack was getting alot of love for firing his BFF (Davis) and that was just last week... now they want his head on a spear out in front of the UT Tower
