Looks like ND is the pretty clear favorite, but worth an offer anyways. Seems like we never actually land anyone from the New England states (Miles Walker but he was a 3* with not a ton of big offers). But with all the Ohio offers at OL, we can definitely chase after a select group of national guys at the position.

I wonder who's the point man for his recruitment with the Ol coach retiring at ND. May be the in that OSU needs

Loy with a CB - so 50.1% chance for Domers.

Lambert
is the top-ranked recruit in Massachusetts, but the battle for his services lies in Big Ten country. In-state Boston College is working to keep him home, but Ohio State, Penn State and Notre Dame seem to have more traction as the summer wears on. The Irish hosted him to open the month and have held true momentum, while PSU gets its shot at the end of June. If a decision is to be had sooner, the timing of those trips could be a key clue into a potential pick. Of course, it's never wise to rule out the Buckeyes.

Not ashamed to say that I have no clue where his journey is going. Keeps things close to the vest, and does very little social media(his last twitter posts are displaying offers from Harvard, Yale and BG). But he's another OL recruit that OSU needs to win

According to Wiltfong Lambert cancelled his Penn St. official visit for this weekend. Coming off of the OSU official this sounds like its trending towards the Buckeyes 8D

Andrew Ellis apparently already threw cold water on any optimism here.

Sucks to throw - on the parade, but AE says that Ohio State doesn't feel good about Lambert.

Well to be fair, Lambert committing here would have been a shocker. Super high on my wish list, but never was on my realistic wish list. So I would just be excited if it happens, but very much skeptical that it will. Baker is the more realistic possibility for an elite OT imo, though I am positive we would take both in that unicorn scenario. Hopefully we can snag one of the two though, really need to.

no i agree with this but like last year we ha d a number of national guys that all seemingly were on the verge of committing only to whiff on almost every one. Now this year its houston whos going supposedly going to commit monday, then tuesday and now hes taking a bama visit. Day's regime showing some major cracks....ok im done hijacking this thread

Yep seems like deja vu, even if it's looking good, high rated southern players visiting Bama or the other SEC powers never seems to work out well for us (especially when it comes to DL and OL). I don't think you can blame Day though. This has always really been the case no matter who the coach is.
