Tressel and Bollman were at the Buchtel basketball practice Thursday (1/20) to see Wilson.

The Buchtel coaches said they also checked in with Corey Smith but the visit was to see Wilson.

This solves a little mystery for me. I attended bowl practice back in December and overheard John McCallister speaking with a kid about being "his" safety and that no one knows about him yet. I thought I heard him call the kid Jared. Spent some time since then on scoutingohio looking for someone that matches the recruit we saw. Height/weight seem to match the mystery kid. I bet this was the kid.

If his stats from scoutingohio are correct, it's pretty ridiculous that he only got Honorable Mention for the district with 8 INTs.
