That was a hell of a shoutout. Every member of the Planet should give that a listen

You guys are right, we do love Joe Burrough (sp?). Even so, I had no idea he was on a pace to throw 55 td passes this season. That’s amazing. I also didn’t know that every team left on your schedule has a higher rated defense than the ones you’ve faced till now (even Utah state!). So I have to agree, he’s not likely to stay on that pace.

I hope Burrough (sp?) does catch Hodson, even though he would have to pass Haskins single season mark to do it. Having seen Hodson play in person (Ohio Stadium, 1988), I have to say that his career mark would probably be out of Joe’s reach if he’d had a decent coach (jmho)

well to catch Tommy, he needs another 4,700 yards.

the absolute most games we can play is 15 (SEC CG, and 2 playoff games). already played 4 of those.

4,700 yards / 11 games = 427 per game.

he’s a 380 per game so far this year, and as discussed on podcast the road gets a LOT tougher from here on out.

so while i would love to see it, i thinks it’s just out of his reach.

he’s on pace to catch Tommy’s career TD record, but he’ll have to maintain this pace to do it.

Yeah, it was the td record I was talking about. I think you said Tommy's record is 71 (or is that the # that Joe is on a pace for?), so Joe would have to throw > 50 TDs (Haskins' #) to get there.

Ahhh... you were at the rain game too, eh?

Left when the downpour started. Went back to my room in the towers. Called home and my dad yelled at me to get back into the stadium. Watched the game winner from the track.

Back then I know for sure that I didn't realize the memories I was creating... but I'll be damned if they aren't as vivid today as they were as it was happening.

Ha. My brother left and went back to HIS room in the towers when the crazy tipped TD pass happened. I have yet to let him live it down.
