Sure. I just think that with the amount and type of evidence floating out there, while hoping LSU gets cleared or nothing happens, the last thing I would want is the coach on tape discussing payments for players, coaching the team until the dust settles. I also think maybe LSU fans should pump the breaks on the Free Wade crap. Maybe they hope the program comes out smelling like roses but nobody actually thinks he is innocent, right? By the looks of it, Sean Miller is going to be out at UofA. I believe KU has a player (DiSilvo?) ruled ineligible for the whole season, maybe more. LSU isn’t the whipping boy here. It seems that LSU should be more on the Fire Wade AND the AD train. It’s fine to not like Alleva but you (not you specifically) don’t have to stick up for a cheating coach out of spite. Wade is caught on tape discussing player payments. He might as well be an NFL player on tape beating a pregnant woman with a sign that has his name, SSN and a statement saying “I’m Will Wade and I like to beat pregnant women.” You want to fight that? Be my guest. You’re an idiot and you’re going to be placed on the commissioner exempt list. You sure as hell ain’t playing in a game until we figure this out. Wade’s an idiot to want to still coach the team currently with all that’s going on. And selfish.

oh, i agree with you.

and i think deep down, most LSU fans do to (they just wont admit it). i don’t think any of them believe we’re innocent on this one.

it’s more like let’s ride this bitch to the end and take our chances.
kinda like Auburn did with the Cam situation. or UNC with the academic fraud scandal, etc.
and maybe we get lucky and skate with minor penalties.

and let’s face it, it was known prior to the season that Wade was on tape discussing this stuff. and the first tape leaked back then. why wait until tourney time to suspend him?

Yeah, it's hard to get worked up about run of the mill buying of players when UNC barely got criticized, much less punished, for compromising the integrity of the entire university.
