here is my understanding of the situation and people’s reaction:
are we guilty? yeah kinda looks like it.
but at the moment, we’re being singled out while the “blue bloods” are skating. hell there is allegedly current players at big name basketball schools also on wire taps. but nothing is being done and no one else is missing games.
plus, lately schools that have cooperated with NCAA have gotten slammed while schools that shot them the finger got away with their crimes.
add that on top of a huge portion of this fan base already hating Alleva and LSU president F. King Alexander and it all boils over.
any games that Smart played in will be vacated anyway, so let’s just ride this out and see what happens.
better than saying “oh fuck! we cheated!” before the NCAA even asks the first question
You don't have a constitutional right to not be punished by your employer.
oh, i agree with you.
and i think deep down, most LSU fans do to (they just wont admit it). i don’t think any of them believe we’re innocent on this one.
it’s more like let’s ride this bitch to the end and take our chances.
kinda like Auburn did with the Cam situation. or UNC with the academic fraud scandal, etc.
and maybe we get lucky and skate with minor penalties.
They can get a full day of work when they pry it out of my cold dead hands. They must have been hoping for at least one full days work out of you.......View attachment 20669
I saw this shit on Twitter, Planet Earth’s greatest shitpile of information. Maybe we can get John Emery to decommit.
Feel like every scandal reaches that rumor point where it goes "way deeper than just this" and the department/school/state are on the verge of sinking into the earth.
