Let’s also remember Skip was the LSU AD who hired Saban. I think he hired Miles too who despite his issues won a title as well.

Skip didn’t become AD until the year after Saban was hired (Mark Emmert was LSU president at the time and hired Saban).
but Skip did hire Les who like you said won a Natty.
he also hired Maineri who won a Natty in baseball
Whitehead who won a Natty in Golf
and Shaver who won a couple Track Natties.
My mistake. For some reason I thought Skip was the AD when Saban was hired because he was the AD when we won the natty with NS in 2003.
That said, he was still AD during an era when LSU football was rising from the ashes of the 90s and deserves flowers for his administrative work as well as his contributions to college baseball as a whole.
