Face it, solid defensive wins are not what most people want to see. It is the same with a 1-0 pitchers duel in baseball. Most pollsters only see the final score and don't really know what happens during the game.

Was there ever any doubt? A lot of folks have been saying it since the Texas loss, we have to win out and win out pretty. Thats a big part of the frustration with the SDSU performance.

I'm not surprised by Louisville's climb. I just wish I knew what goes on in the minds of people who continually rank the Louisville's, BYUs, Va Techs of this world as BCS teams when they play in leagues like Conference America, Big East and whatever it is they call the Idaho-Utah-Montana league these days.

I'm amazed at the dive ND took for an overtime loss. Had they pulled it off in overtime they'd be ahead of Louisville and breathing down the necks of the Longhorns... Go Purdue!... The cynic in me says Purdue was bumped to top ten so that if ND wins they can justify ranking the Irish second.
