The Buckeyes dealt out numerous offers on Thursday.
With members of the Ohio State football coaching staff on the recruiting trail checking out top prospects across the country, chances are a few scholarship offers are going to get handed out along the way.
On Thursday, just like nearly every day this week, Ohio State gave numerous top rated prospects a chance to play their college ball for the Big Ten powerhouse Buckeyes.
Taking to their Twitter pages to share the news with family, friends and fans, the following prospects walked away from Thursday with an opportunity to call Columbus their future stomping grounds:
4-star WR Mark Richards
Class: 2019
Town: West Palm Beach,FL/Wellington
Size: 6’0/184
Offers: OSU, Miami, Florida, Auburn, Louisville
Notes: The Buckeyes might have to put in some overtime to land a pledge from the shifty playmaker. The brother of Miami standout wide out Ahmmon Richards, many around the scene currently believe Mark could follow in his footsteps and end up with the Hurricanes when it’s all said and done.
Blessed to recieve my 5th offer from THE Ohio State University #GoBucks #Buckeyes @RyanBartow @CoachAbes @GridironATH pic.twitter.com/NrrgQOQ24h
— 21 (@mark21richards) May 18, 20174-star LB King Mwikuta
Class: 2019
Town: Lagrange,GA/Troup County
Size: 6’4/205
Offers: OSU, Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, etc
Notes: A former safety who grew into a 3-4 linebacker/defensive end after a late growth spurt, Mwikuta is no longer in the secondary but still moves like a defensive back. Growing into a hard hitting tackler, his best attribute might be his well over 80-inch wingspan.
Blessed To have received My 3rd offer today from The Ohio State #BUCKEYE19 @tanner_glisson @ChadSimmons pic.twitter.com/V4GCx2vEFy

(@Lethal_Balller) May 18, 2017WR Kobe Hudson
Class: 2020
Town: Lagrange,GA/Troup County
Size: 6’2/185
Offers: OSU, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, etc
Notes: Only a freshman with offers coming in left and right, Hudson’s name will no question be rated among the top prospects in his class when released. A solid route runner for his age, he finished his first year on the high school level with over 500 yards receiving.
Blessed To Receive Another Official Offer From The Ohio State Buckeyes

Class: 2020
Town: Atlanta,GA/Woodward Academy
Size: 6’5/232
Offers: OSU, Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, etc
Notes: Like Hudson, Gilbert is already highly sought after even though he hasn’t seen much action on the varsity level. A big kid who can move, he has lined up at both tight end and defensive end so far at Woodward Academy.
#OhioState is the latest to offer Woodward Academy (Ga) 2020 ATH @arik_gilbert
— Gerry Hamilton (@HamiltonESPN) May 18, 2017ATH Cartavious Bigsby
Class: 2020
Town: Hogansville,GA/Callaway
Size: 5’11/185
Offers: OSU, Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, Louisville, etc
Notes: Another freshman phenom, the Buckeyes decided it was better to enter the race now than sit back and wait for more programs to enter the race. Showing talent on both sides of the ball, Bigsby could play either running back or defensive back on the next level.
Truly blessed to receive my 16th offer from Ohio State #GoBucks #BuckeyeNation

- The basketball Buckeyes also dished out an offer of their own on Thursday. Previously holding offers from the likes of North Carolina, Duke, Arizona and many others, 2018 four-star Cannon School (NC) small forward Jarius Hamilton now adds Ohio State to his growing list. Still in the mix for the 6-foot-4, 200-pound Arp, Texas native are Ohio State, Baylor, Texas A&M, Auburn, Florida State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Florida, TCU, Clemson, Texas, Alabama, LSU and Stanford.
