Looking for rosters 1942 - 1947

Does anybody have rosters for the 1942 through the 1947 seasons? I'm adopted and family tradition has it that my birth father was one the football team. I've recently learned that his last name was probably Archer or Chapman. Now I'm trying to find out exactly who he was. I was born in May 1947 in Columbus. Most likely, he was on the team in the 45 or 46 seasons. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Those should give you links to everybody on the team for 45 and 46 who received a letter. You can change the string to change the year if you'd like. I didn't see an Archer or Chapman. Perhaps he didn't win a letter?

That database will show non-letter winners if you search by number, but for some reason it only pulls letter winners if you search by year.
