Anyone seen any articles? I couldn't find any. But I've heard he's outspoken on the issue. You'd think it'd be easier to find his thoughts if that were the case.

E-mailed and called him and got the run-around.

Is there anyway we can all get together and beg Gee to respond to 307??? Does he have a personal email or cell phone number.

I really feel this could become Gee's project with a lot of candidates out there for expansion, we could be the premier conference again. Without Texas we will be a grind it out conference with Wisconsin and great defensive teams -- similar to 2006. Not sure that puts us to the top.

Never in my wildist dreams did I think Texas should or would join our conference , but they've never really been featured to the extent of their potential exposure on the Big Ten Network. Next year they should play Big Ten teams in addition to everything else - they should constantly be showing their love for the Big Ten not playing the biggest decoy in history.

GEE, EXPAND OUR CONFERENCE --- DEMAND TEXAS JOIN AND CHALLENGE THE SEC. GO TO THE CIC MEETING AS ONE OF THE TOP PROPONENTS OF EXPANSION not as an indifferent president with cool glasses and a bow tie.

There are no guarantee's -- ever -- but Texas - YOU CAN MAKE IT HAPPPEN. Get your A** to the Midwest and be the best you can be!! And Gee --- free the reigns -- if Texas comes you promote them any way you can -- BEVO BILGINS -- basketball, football, water polo- - I don't care

And this Rutgers crap is overated --- TAKE A COUNT -- WHAT'S THE % OF NEW YORKERS WHO WATCH COLLEGE FOOTBALL ---- IS IT EVEN AS HIGH AS 2%???

THE UPSIDE FOR GEE AND TEXAS IF THEY COME TO THE BIG TEN IS MUCH HIGHER THAN STAYING IN THE BIG XII.

IF TEXAS COMES THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE THE BIG TEN BETTER NOT RUIN IT - AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT I'D TELL THEM

sepia - Those are some great sample texts, but I believe Numbers was looking for a stance on the NCAA hoops tournament expansion, not the potential expansion of the Big Ten Conference. :wink2:

All I've found are articles about football. Expected that.

A couple of you guys are making it sound like I'm crazy for wanting to have a word with Gee, I know plenty of people who have. It's not that uncommon, just hard to get a word with him with a deadline in mind.

I actually plan on trying to get Thad Matta.. but I don't expect that. I do expect to get a word with Gee. :wink:
