I've got a PS3. I'm starting to get burnt out on COD and am getting into bball now that football is over with. What's the best game out there right now in regards to bball. Or is NBA 2k11 pretty much the only one worth it's salt.

NBA 2k11 is about the only one you can buy. NBA Jam seemed to play just like it did on the Super Nintendo. I liked 2k11, getting the shot stick down was rather difficult. If you can rent I'd go that route. EA's NBA Elite was a major fail, it got canned after a major problem with the demo.

Yeah, as far as I know the ONLY NBA game for the 2011 season was 2K11. That said, I loved 2K11. Thought it was fan-fricking-tastic. A hint though: If you're new to the 2k series, put it on the easiest skill level, bump the layup, dunk and inside shot success sliders up and go from there. As you get better, up the difficulty. Otherwise it will be too hard to enjoy for the average gamer.
