Re: he has an SC tattoo on his leg so he’s pretty committed to the program

Just sayin': So much for tattoos, anybody else remember this one?

JT Daniels Enters Transfer Portal.
5 Possible Teams For The Former USC Quarterback

1. Michigan
The Shea Patterson experience wasn’t quite what Michigan fans were hoping for, but he was a wee bit better than you might think.

The former Ole Miss-turned-Michigan quarterback was a decent player for Jim Harbaugh over the last two seasons, but the program hasn’t been able to come up with that one big superstar passer to be the key differentiating factor.

While Ohio State has enjoyed the talents of Justin Fields, Dwayne Haskins, and JT Barrett during Harbaugh’s run with the Wolverines, Michigan has had Patterson, John O’Korn, Brandon Peters, Wilton Speight and Jake Rudock as the headliners.

They were all fine, but Daniels is the five-star talent who’s still growing into his game.

Dylan McCaffrey and Joe Milton are both promising options who were expected to wage a massive battle in spring ball to take over for Patterson, but there’s room for someone else to come in and upgrade the position.

That might be Daniels.

2. Ole Miss

3. Texas Tech

4. LSU

5. USC - The door is still wide open to return.

Black is leaving U-M as a grad transfer. That means he will be eligible to play for Texas football in 2020. It’s very likely that Black will have two years of eligibility with the Longhorns.

A four-star member of U-M’s 2017 recruiting class, Black was rated as the No. 15 receiver in the country and the No. 1 player at any position in the state of Connecticut.

NOT SO FAST! It's been reported and assumed that a one-time transfer waiver was expected to pass some time this offseason and go into effect immediately, but it looks like we may need to pump the brakes on that one.

A complete about-face on an extremely player-first rule change that overwhelmingly aligned with public opinion – now *that* is the NCAA I know. Great to see they didn't forget who they were after yesterday's decision.
