Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

I'm not sure I see any connection between the transfer portal and pay-for-play.
as well.

all the transfer portal does is make your intent to transfer widely (and easily) known in a central database, as well as ease communication between programs and players. you could say the portal increases competition for transfers and, therefore, fosters an environment whereby programs are bidding against each other for top transfers, but that's no different than what we already have with the recruitment of high school players.

if anything, the transfer portal makes student-athletes more like normal students. about 40% of college students transfer at least once. are their communications with other colleges restricted?

His earlier transgression of choosing to play for pure evil aside, Peters would be the best back up QB on OSU's roster.

Sounds like a guy who wants to go someplace where he's likely to start but give him some time with Day and he'd be a legit option if/when Fields is ever hurt.

for whatever reason, purdue is the expected destination for peters. at least at purdue, he'll have a shot at beating osu.

Give that kid actual QB coaching and put him in a modern offense and I will not be the least bit shocked if he's an above average QB.

At The Game last year when Shea sprained his labia I told my son that Peters was not who we wanted to see come in for him.
