Ah yes, but USC's losses are profound and on both sides of the ball; RB, QB, DB, and O-line. Our offense is back, and our defense is being restocked with guys who have all had playing time last year. Hardly a "green" defense.well obviously you know that, i was just saying that behind the comment about usc losing a lot of players.

Interesting. Not slamming, but how'd you come up with this ranking? I assume that since Texas is not in your top three, you're saying we beat them. With you having us beating Texas and us ending at #3, are you saying we run the table and yet finish behind LSU and ND?
My humble apologies, OregonBuck . Should never underestimate Bellotti up there. He got that big back from Washington last year, and manages to put together some pretty competitive teams. If those green and yellow uniforms would be worth some points to plant USC with an "L", I'll holler from the rooftops. That said, Cal can be had, they've got a great RB and a senior QB, plus a receiver that escaped the clutches of Petey (plus a good O-line), but they can be had. UCLA is probably second place, but with Colletto as an offensive (yes, very offensive) coordinator, they cannot be rated highly. Udub doesn't have the horses, as they all fled to Cal or Oregon, regardless of what a clean program Tyrone runs.
That said, Go Ducks! Errrr, I mean Bucks!
