Huge fan, no.
Will watch it when it is on and I am around a cable box. I like the show. The loner dude Glenn I think is my favorite. I like the Hailstone family too.
Admire the lifestyle greatly. I want to do this but in the jungle. Finding a woman not tied to this country and willing to runaway forever has been elusive however. . . .

Season two just ended a few months ago and was the best TV I have seen in years.
Season one only OK. Two is the shit with the new format.
Really hoping the three final teams, Marty and the mountaineers, team endurance with the current Iditarod champ, and team military come back for season three.
Season two starts off with a bang. Dog mushing for the first leg. Iditarod champ wins the race to the dogs and you think he has the race down. Team military says fuck it though leaves the dogs behind and beats the Iditarod guy mushing dogs on his dog sled by leaving their dogs behind and just hoofing it in snowshoes. Bad ass.
I like the nature hike race and then throw in the hunting and survival and I was hooked.
