Let’s watch Ohio State’s Gareon Conley pick off Deshaun Watson’s first throw

The Silver Bullets strike again.
Clemson’s Deshaun Watson is one of the most dynamic, exciting and explosive quarterbacks in all of college football. But if he has one possible weakness, it’s that he occasionally can make a mistake and be forced into a turnover. If Ohio State wants to be successful against the Tigers, they’ll need to take advantage of those mistakes when they happen.
And the Buckeyes did, bright and early in this game. On Clemson’s very first pass, to be specific.
Facing 2nd and long, Watson dropped back to hit Mike Williams, only Williams slipped. Waiting right there, and in such a position he may have bene able to pick the ball off even if Williams didn’t fall, was Gareon Conley, who grabbed the interception.
After a three and out on their first drive, Ohio State is suddenly in business to draw first blood against the Tigers. Can they pull it off? Even if they can’t, the defense is off to a great start.
