By Lichtenfels...Lesean seems a little less committed to Miami as of late as he will take official visits to Pitt, Penn State, Florida, Miami and possibly Virginia Tech.

He took three of his five visits when he was in high school and is now planning on taking at least three of his five as a prep athlete, including a second official visit to Penn State. This kid needs to make up his mind...

I am thinking Prep school knocked some sense in him and he is realizing why in the hell would I ever want to go to Miami in the first place.

I don't blame the kid...but is a second official visit to Penn State really necessary, especially after he made numerous unofficial visits there as well?

Actually it probably is necessary. Word is he didn't get along with others on his first visit.

Though LeSean says he guesses he's still committed to Miami he's very pro Penn State in this article.

By Lichtenfels...LeSean was supposed to official visit Temple last weekend but did not. He is visiting Pitt in January and will decide between them and PSU.

LeSean McCoy gave a verbal commit to Pitt it is reported today.

This puts something of a dent into Penn State's recruiting plans at RB. It will also impact the RB stable for next year, putting greater pressure on Scott and redshirt freshman Royster.

Inevitably you now have chipping from some on the Fight on State boards that "he would never have qualified for Penn State anyway" - in which case one might ask, why bother offering him?
