Stating the obvious, but getting to the Final Four is a whole lot easier as a 1 or 2 seed. It's not as If this team has to fight through a bracket just for a shot at the Great 8.
From the 2 seed, you're looking at a 2-15 first round game, and then the winner of the 7-10 game. To say that this team "has a shot at the S16" is kind of silly...sorry. You're talking a win over a 15 and at worst, a seven seed at a neutral site. Now, once you're there, all the teams from S16 on up are going to be good, and pretty much all of them have a shot.
I like this team to make the Great 8, and at that point it depends on matchup and everyone having a big night. Get Kansas, and maybe not. Without seeing the brackets, it's hard to say. When you look at the wins and performances against teams that spent a lot of time in the top 10/top 15 -- on the road in West Laf, on the road at Breslin, on the road in Morgantown, at Butler without Turner -- there's a lot to like. Those are the kinds of teams you meet in S16 games, and on a neutral floor, I think OSU wins.
