snow would be fine at the starting pg spot if the cavs had a 2 guard to go with him. as it is snow offers no offense, and neither does newble, so mcginnis inconsistent scoring is needed.

3-5 are fine if a decent backcourt can be established.

Dee Brown in the draft from Illinois would give this team some speed, defense and push for the transition scoring. Then the only thing lacking is that pure shooter. Maybe if they can't get anyone from trading- the kid from Vermont looks really good and Stoudamire from Arizona is automatic.

Yeah that would all be great but I don't think we have any draft picks.

I thought someone said the Cavs have a second rounder this year. I also thought the first rounder they traded for Pavlovic last year was coming from the Raptors so they should still have one of theirs in the future.

I would love to have one of the guys that can throw it up anytime anywhere and have it go it. Reddick might fall down to the second round if the Cavs have a pick. All he does is shoot right? :p Bring on Steve Kerr.

It will all be Jeri Welsch's fault!!! I will be so pissed if we don't make the playoffs and lose a top 10 pick because we had to take the lottery protection off the pick this year because of the Welsch trade :mad1:

I believe welsch was traded for an 06 1st round pick when I am sure the ownership believed we would be deep in the playoffs and the pick wouldnt be a early pick.

I would love get Reddick. I would also like a guy like Stoudameire which will not be so much of a defensive liability.

Bring on a gunslinger.

Welsch was traded for the 2007 pick, which really I don't care about. The problem is to be able to trade the 2007 pick we had to take the lottery protection off the pick we had traded away for the 2005 draft. Of course at the time no one really thought we wouldn't make the playoffs so no one thought of it.

That is also why Silas got fired, Paxson was really afraid of not making the playoffs and getting embarrassed again for losing a lottery pick in PG rich draft.
