In your eyes. In mine: 28 - 35 to 0 is an ass kicking, 36 - 48 to 7 is a beat down, 49 - 70 to 3 -21 is a curb stomping.

Replace the Michigan game with Iowa and tell me how many successive years that final game will get national coverage. Hate the weasels all you want, but without their earned record - or some other team in the conference matching it - over the last 100 years the reputation of Big Ten and Ohio State is diminished.

....as we get ready to play in the inaugural CFB playoff after scUM has sucked balls for the better part of 8 years.

I just don't see the cataclysmic demise of OSU because scUM is bad anywhere on the horizon. Current facts point to essentially the opposite conclusion. Wishing scUM to be good again seems nothing more than nostalgia to me which is fine. Agree to disagree I guess.

What I've always found peculiar about the nostalgia is that Michigan was generally bad to above-average from 1949 to 1968, so over the long haul they've been down more years than they've been great in the lifetime of anyone carrying a Golden Buckeye card (unless one considers all those 6-3 teams great). What the fuck are people nostalgic for? Bell-bottoms and disco were popular during the Michigan football renaissance under Bo too, doubt many people are pining for their return.

Those "earned" wins were accrued when Michigan was essentially a barnstorming semi-professional team teaching the game to high school and college clubs in the 1800s. Those wins and national championships were earned in an era where their games were about as competitive as the Harlem Globetrotters vs the Washington Generals.

Fuck those douchers. Fuck them right in the pussy.

Oh come on. A bit of Buckeye loyalty is expected, but this anything-good-about-Michigan-is-bad-bull[Mark May] is inane. This year's game was still only 7 pts dif at the start of the 4th quarter, the year before the diff was 1. There's only been one Buckeye blowout in the 2000's despite winning 12 of 14 games. They owned the 90's on the Bucks. They won an NC in 1997 - and don't give me the "half championship" bull[Mark May] because then you have to give up at least one Ohio State shared National Championship in 1961.

You claimed Michigan has had "continuity" in being a winning program on the field. In doing so, you're going to ignore their 5-7 overall record this season (to say nothing of their terrible 2013, 2010, 2009 and 2008 campaigns, to name a few), and instead hang your hat on the point differential at the start of the 4th quarter?

There's grasping at straws...and then there's your post.

2008: 42-7
2010: 37-7

So, by your standards, we had not one but two beat downs of Michigan in this century so far...
