LCD monitor recommendations?

CleveBucks

Serenity now
Thinking about finally buying an LCD monitor. Does anybody have any recommendations? I use a Dell 1901FP at work that I really like. The newer 1907FP is down to $235 shipped with tax which seems like a real good deal.

Samsung, Viewsonic, NEC, Dell...whatever's cheapest. I have bought 3 Samsung monitors and all of them are perfect. My roommate has a Viewsonic 19" gaming LCD monitor and its stunning. Dell makes some amazing 19-20" monitors as well.

Seems like LCD TV's are getting way cheaper, too. I saw a 37" Viewsonic LCD HDTV on newegg.com for $1100...not bad considering they were around $3000 a few years ago.

i've got the 20.1" wide screen from dell at home and its killer.

we have been buying a bunch of Acer 1917's here at the office and they are pretty nice and work pretty well. we have bought 55 so far in the past 9 months and have only had 1 go bad, but i think it was the users fault.

Newegg has a 19" LCD from Rosewill for $150! It's $100 off of regular price. Response time is excellent (4ms), but brightness and contrast are mearly average.

Anybody have experience with Rosewill? I'm thinking about picking this up to replace my old 19" CRT. Tough to argue with that price.

when i worked for a computer repair store, we had 3 of them in the back that we used for test systems. they worked pretty well. the only thing i can say bad about them is that there isn't a height adjustment, but you can still tilt the screen. not bad for that price at all.

Tiger has 19"ers for $150 all the time. Their rebate system is much improved with onrebate now as well. You give them a couple bucks, and you can have the rebate back in a couple days.

I had never heard of the brand (hanns G), but have bought 4 of them now, and they are just damn nice monitors. Very bright, clear, 8ms response.
