This is actually a very tough decision. Any three would be great choices.

I'm going to take Wilhelm on the inside, Hawk and Carp on the outsides.

It was a very tough choice over Cie Grant and Carp

Can't we run a 3-4 Defense so we can have Carp, Hawk, Wilhelm, and Grant?

God imagine that!

grant does sing a mean carmen ohio. Despite that intangible and his production during the NC season, I do not think he would start over Carp.

Carpenter was his own rush end on many plays. Imagine what Carp would have done if there was a true DE (and a dominant one at that) playing in front of him.

schlegs carp and hawk. easiest poll for me thus far. alot of people will likely disagree with me on schlegs vrs. wilhelm. but imo schlegs as a senior vrs. wilhelm as a senior, schlegs starts. wilhelm's stats look a lot better. but i think schlegs was a better mlb. imho schlegs was a very good lb that wasn't nearly as appriciated or as ultilized as he would normally have been had he not been so completely overshadowed by carp and hawk.

Wilhelm was faster and better in coverage and was great at filling the hole. Schlegel was late to the ball a few times this season because he is not the fastest linebackers that's for sure.

Wilhelm inside: Surprisingly, it seems to me that he is a little underrated in Buckeye lore. He was a great player and All-American the NC year, and OSU would probably won at least 2-3 more games the year before had he not gotten hurt.

Hawk: given

Carpenter: Gets my nod over Grant because he could have more impact on a game and was so versatile, but Cie is still one of my alltime favorite Bucks for his willingness to be a great team player and the blitz on Dorsey in the NC game is a classic.

I went with Hawk/Will/Carp but with those 3 together I'd worry their stat lines wouldn't look nearly as good....When all the opponent can muster is repeated 3 and outs and then your offense takes 5-6 minutes to drive the other way you're only looking at 30-40 chances to tackle/sack/intercept per game.
