LB Ryan Shazier (All B1G, All-American, 2017 Pro Bowl)

Let's keep the premium info from other boards where it belongs...in the meantime, Shazier has a mid-week trip to Columbus planned and we'll all know more after that takes place.

I thought Muschamp couldn't meet with recruits until after the outback bowl.

That seems to be a common misconception...and although that makes sense (because in essence Florida has two staffs recruiting) Muschamp is able to recruit for UF I believe.

Some folks were certainly reporting that the NCAA told Muschamp he could not recruit until after Florida's bowl game.

An interesting theory is that if UF brought Muschamp in temporarily as an assistant coach under Meyer until after the bowl game, which would permit Muschamp to do off-campus recruiting and thus Florida could essentially get two in-home visits...one with Urban and one with Muschamp.

An SEC school bending the rules? Surely, you jest....

I think we can tell that silly banana icon that he doesn't need to warm up or stretch or whatever you guys like to say.
Gee, was anyone saying things like that in this thread? You must be spending too much time on another site, or something. Anyway, welcome back. Your [strike]negativity[/strike] realism will certainly be appreciated over here....

I just assume that Muschamp will be held to the same "coach-in-waiting" rules that the NCAA put in place for him at Texas, and any other coaches that are slated to inherit a program. Basically, he was already held to the limitations that the head coach is limited to...I don't see any way that Florida could get around the coach-in-waiting rules by naming him an assistant, when it's already been announced that he will soon take over the program.
