IIRC, there were reports that he equaled or surpassed Bell with his camp performance (from the bank, I think). People were naturally skeptical.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Darron at either safety, LB or even DE for the Jets. Exceptionally versatile.

Everything I read was he was just a notch below Bell but I'm mainly referring to the hype. The excitement level was tepid at best
