Putting two and two together, I’m going to speculate that Kansas might have given the strongest “you will absolutely play immediately if you come here” pitch.

And I think that factors into NIL deals too. hard to justify a higher NIL offer if you aren't on the field.

Regardless, best of luck to him at KU!

I don't hate the move. He'll be a starter right away so likely all the playing time he could ask for. They will be in a few big games so he'll get some exposure. Not where you go to win obviously, but for playing time, development and exposure, not terrible.

Not sure Kansas will develop him but I agree with the rest
