However, not only does he possess the physical traits to provide early snaps, but he plays with an urgency that manifests in impact plays, and his already impressive striking ability seemed to elevate to another level this fall.
Hicks' profile as a two-way big-play machine who also competes in track and field projects exceptionally well to the NFL Draft at the linebacker position. If you get him on the field, removing him may be tough. Hicks is a modern off-ball linebacker who should be able to compete effectively in myriad down-and-distance scenarios.
