Tossing stuff up in the forums is fine, there's nothing wrong with that. If I notice something that isn't up on front, I'll add it. 3yards has also volunteered to collect news items and post them. Anyone else who wants to chip in is more than welcome.
Only reason I wanted to mention it here is just to remind people it's there in case they find it useful.
Folks, this is my first post on the planet and I want to share my Anthony Schlegal story.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
When crappy Air Force played Virginia Tech in the San Francisco Bowl or whatever the name is, I placed a grand down on the Hokies. Well the line was 6.5 or something and Kevin Jones and Suggs were healthy. I thaught this was a lock game, except I didn't know about Schlegel. Living out here in Newport Beach, CA I could watch the game at a decent hour not at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:time Hour="9" Minute="0">9:00</st1:time> in the morning. So, I settled in to watch the Va. Tech boys run for 400 yards and make me 1000 richer. Now remember Schlegal wasn't a Buckeye recruit at the time of this game so forgive me for what I was thinking and saying while watching the game. I recall thinking somebody pleases put a lick on this sophomore linebacker. Cut Block him. Double team him. Run away from him. Trust me if you didn't see this game Virginia tech tried everything and more but Schlegal was as absolutely dominating and just plain unreal. The only thing left to do was hope he would get injured, if I was going to win my bet. Fellow Buckeyes we got the best linebacker in the country, which means we got the number one recruiting class in the country in my book. Screw USC and Junior Criminal recruits. We got leadership, class, A Human tacking machine named Anthony Schlegel. For any of you that think this is over hyping a player find a hokie that played against him.<o:p></o:p>
I don't see him being a captain, at least not this year. Possibly as a senior. I see Fox and Hawk as defensive captains, although Salley may get the nod over Hawk because he's a senior.
Actually, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if this kid along with Fox is a defensive captain next year. He has shown incredible leadership ability in the past and I have a hunch he will show it this year as well.

I saw this game and Schlegal was unreal. Air Force should've won that game too. I think Schlegal will be an All-American this year, maybe first team.
I'm pretty sure Schlegel was a defensive captain for Air Force as a sophomore too.
Lightningrod: Are you sure about Salley being a junior? I could have sworn he was going to be a senior this year, but now that I think about it, I just don't know. I could always simply check the official roster, but I'm lazier than that.
