I'd rather be napping!!
We bought our mower about 7 yrs ago from sears. Nothing spectacular, push mower 22" cut 6hp. No real problems just regular maint... But I am Mowing the grass on Thurs.... Bonus, is I started out front and moved to the back second... The fucking handle breaks off... Not a big deal costs about $13.50 or so... No one local has it (it's a fucking lawn mower handle for christ's sake). So I order it from sears on the web, they don't give delivery dates I guess. I look today, It's on order from the factory.... Are all lawnmower handles so different that they have to manu-fucking-facture one for my mower??

so I now I sit, back yard half mowed, front yard looking like it could use it again, and they are saying 7 business days....

No wonder they are having a hard time staying afloat..

edit

this is a c&p exact verbiage

This part has been sent to the factory for shipment. The part should arrive in 4 to 7 business days. Some deliveries could take longer.

They sent it to the factory for shipment?????!?!?!?

Are you talking about the pull-start handle? If so, then you can just look around your garage for something (anything) to tie the cord to. I had that happen to me before. I tied the cord to a little scrub brush handle until I got an actual pull-start handle. They are interchangeable, so don't worry about a brand or anything. I found a handle at a little small engine repair shop.
