My parents were both Trekkies, so in a lot of ways I grew up watching ST:TNG with Captain Picard. Most of his scenes on that show and in the movies he was in, both Star Trek and other, were in a lot of ways enhanced by his presence.

The rendition of A Christmas Carol that he was Scrooge in is one of the very best if not the best ever. There are four lights....

One of my favorite SNG scenes ever. I break that out every once in awhile when it fits.

Damn RIP Professor X. I grew up with Captain Picard and then as the spot on casting of Professor X. Echoing what yall have said it could have been the worst acted movie but if he was in it his presence brought such command and respect you had to appreciate it. I know he other great performances but I really wish Logan was the last ride for him and Hugh with the characters. I know the money and the stories were too good but damn the trailer with Jonny’s cover of “Hurt” about broke me.
