I can't remember how old I was at the time, but my friend up the street like to make mention of Dolly's boobs, and it was at an age where I was not yet thinking about such thing, especially on an adult woman. (This kid was an accident baby and he had 3 siblings who were like full on adults when we were 8 or 9 or 7 or whatever we were) But anyway, once I noticed it was hard, ahem, not to. (Thinking further it was was probably 7 or 8 or whenever 9 to 5 came out). @zbuck we don't need to go there.
I was afraid that this would come up in the thread. Thanks AKAK ....:lol:

Lately my wife and I have been into Dolly's rendition of the Collective Soul song Shine. I never knew about it till recently, even though she won a Grammy for it. My wife now wants it played at her funeral (hopefully in many years from now). Such an incredible person. I miss her already .....



Ed Roland of Collective Soul, who wrote the song said he was honored and blown away by her recording of it. When she won the Grammy for it he sent her flowers and said it was her song now. Kinda like Trent Reznor when Johnny Cash recorded "Hurt". Reznor said the song belonged to Cash now.
And on a side note, that song has always been special to me for personal reasons and her version of it blew me away too. Atthe original Collective Soul version. times I like it better than
