I still remember the first time I'd ever heard one of his songs. We were living across the street from a railroad track in Grants Pass OR and a very loud train came through in the middle of the night. There was always a radio playing in my father's bathroom and as the train passed Cold on the Shoulders was playing. The reason why I remember it was because my sister siad the singer sounded like one of my father's friends, Dan, singing.
