Latest Celebrity 'Obit' posts

I never rarely post comment or express sorrow for celebrities who pass, but this Tom Petty one fucking hurts bad, real bad. I am only 32 so it's not like I grew up in his prime years but for the last 15 years I have had some of my greatest memories listening to or attending Tom Petty concerts. I have road tripped around the country to see them play when they didn't come to Ohio. I'm just thankful I got to see them live here in Cleveland this past summer and honestly they sounded as good today as they did 10+ years ago I thought.

Truly an icon in rock and roll (and music in general). I always said if I could just hang out with an artist for a day it'd be him.

Now I think i'll go take my printer out to an empty field and go Louisville Slugger on it ala Office Space just to vent.

With ya man. Slightly younger but he was an idol to my friends and I. Just saw him in May during my birthday weekend. Knew I had to take every opportunity to see the last few years but was not ready for this.

Guy was still rocking for 2+ hours.
