I loved Eraserhead but for the life of me I couldn't get into Mulholland Drive or anything else I can think of that he did.Very much a fan - he was a true genius. RIP
Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks!I loved Eraserhead but for the life of me I couldn't get into Mulholland Drive or anything else I can think of that he did.
How old are you? This commercial was an absolute classic of the 80's.I've been saying "we must be in the front rooowwwwwww" for YEARS. Something I picked up from on of my dad's friends. No idea where it came from.
That scene you posted was great but the problem for me when it came to Lynch was his movies were just so weird. You almost have to be stoned to watch his stuff. I never watched Twin Peaks, that was out at a time in my life were I didn't even own a TV, way too busy for that. As a matter of fact the only TV I owned from the time I was 18 until I got married at 28 was because I had an annoying roommate in the military. He was this mega-dork from Kokomo IN. He loved Star Trek, D&D, he never bathed or changed his clothes, he never left the room. He would go to the day room to watch TV but most of the time they weren't watching things he liked so he'd come back. Then he'd try to talk me into playing D&D. I bought the TV so he'd leave me alone and it worked. He never had money because he sent most of his pay to his "girlfriend" back home who 15. She ended up getting pregnant while he was up in Alaska. He was really bummed. But t gets worse. I looked him up on Facebook and he ended up marrying that pig and raising her kidSpeaking of, yesterday was the 28 year anniversary of the premiere of Lost Highway.
